Looking fabulous in below-freezing temperatures will forever be one of fashion’s greatest coups. Proud to say I nailed it this weekend! I was celebrating my birthday with a brunch at CK14 in NYC. I knew I wanted my look to be super fabulous, all-eyes-me luxe and, at the same time, comfy and warm. So here’s how I put together a show stopping winter look!
Obviously, the statement maker is the full-length fur jacket. I pulled this gem from my aunt’s collection of vintage furs. For the rest of the look, I chose rich, warm tones and textures: a buttery caramel-toffee handbag by Coach and tailored high-waisted suede pants in a deep rust color (vintage Ellen Tracy). I love that both have have such a defined structure but are still complemented by a warm tone and material. I paired these polished shapes with a flirty, feminine Bebe top that shows a peak of skin with open shoulders and a v-neck. The finishing touches include a delicate 3 layer chain and a luxe locket, both by Forever 21. I love the way this all came together. I hope it gives you some inspiration for ways to keep it fab despite cold temperatures. More pics below.
